My friend Neal Walsh recently published his short story"Mouthing the Words" in the Absinthe Literary Review. On thecomments page, "Miles Hitchcock from Australia wrote on January 8. 2003:
--
got to say this is one of the better / best lit publications
on the web. Mouthing the Words got me - chilling/amusing tale
of ordinary madness - the sweet shadows of modern ennui and liberty..."

I admit I have only skimmed it briefly, but the narrator seems to be having a serious masculinity crisis and Walsh has very artfully put it into words. Walsh has an M.A. in the Creative Writing concentration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is beginning the M.F.A. program at the University of Mississippi this Spring.
